Andy Atkins

Director of Development

Andy has over 30 years of experience as a CEO, building and leading two technology services companies, ExecuTrain and, most recently, CRM manager (a Salesforce Ventures Company), from start-up to successful exit. In his current role as the Director of Development for The Precision Institute he brings his proven track record and passion for building high caliber teams, scaling businesses and transforming organizations.

In November 2017, Simplus (www.simplus.com) acquired CRM manager. Andy started CRM manager in 2005 and became one of the first Salesforce systems integration partners in the US. Growing CRM manager from a pure startup, he raised money from outside investors and Salesforce, and was able to become one of Salesforce’s top partners on the East Coast, serving marquis clients such as Citi, DuPont, Comcast, Quest Diagnostics, AXA, and many others.

Prior to founding CRM manager, Andy enjoyed long-tenured employment with Xerox, first as a territory sales representative, eventually becoming a major account executive and then with Oce (now Canon) as a sales manager. In 1989, he purchased an ExecuTrain franchise. By 1998, ExecuTrain was widely considered the worldwide leader in computer training. In 2000, he sold his interest in his franchise to a private equity firm; shortly thereafter, he and four other people bought the assets of the franchisor, ExecuTrain Corporation, and he was named Chairman of the Board.

Andy also serves on the Penn State College of Liberal Arts Alumni Society Board. He started a very successful Penn State intern program, where many Penn State students worked for CRM manager and gained meaningful experience in technology.

Andy earned his BA in Political Science from Pennsylvania State University.
